first impressions

VERA (THE DEMON LORD) Age 18 Gender Female Height 4'10" Build Petite Species Demon Lord First Impressions Vera is, first and foremost, obviously non-human. The red eyes with black sclera is obvious, as are the large dark red horns, the pointed ears, and the fangs. Getting past that, Vera is a tiny girl who radiates the confidence of somebody who was meant to be much larger and more intimidating. How she initially comes across depends largely on her mood - flighty and irresponsible, curious, naive and sheltered, intimidating and powerful, or a try-hard chuuni, these are all impressions that she might give off. Spending more time around her just shows that she wears her thoughts and her emotions on her sleeve. She's often dressed in outfits that are either cute, elegant, and dark, or else punk-ish and edgy. Her preferred colors to wear are black and red, accented with gold, purple, or white. For those who sense magic or demonic power, she has both in extremely high levels. She is the Demon Lord, an equivalent of a ruler of Hell from other dimensions. Info Due to the nature of monsters and demons in her world, Vera (being born a Demon Lord) automatically subjugated all other monsters and demons around her, forcing them to obey all of her commands. This led to a one-sided upbringing where she was doted on and got anything she asked, but also didn't have anybody around her with any will of their own, to offer her advice or lessons or even conversation that she didn't directly ask for. Eventually she began the motions of being a Demon Lord - kidnapping a local princess, getting a legendary hero summoned to vanquish her... except she made the princess her bride, then also made the legendary hero her bride too. Together they realized that they were deeply unhappy in their current state, and between the three of them they managed to make a dimension-hopping vehicle and fucked off into different worlds. So by the point she arrives in Genessia, Vera's already been to a number of different worlds, with varying levels of technology and such. She's still a lot more used to the high fantasy life, though, and hasn't gotten the hang of technology, even if she does integrate magic into them in her spare time.
